Mission:

The Mission of PayneFitness is to help people of all ages and backgrounds improve and maintain their health, improve functionality, permanently reduce and manage ACCEPTABLE levels of fat and gain and maintain acceptable levels of muscle. This is accomplished specifically with a focus on "Diet & Exercise" which is about BLOOD GLUCOSE management, RESISTANCE Fitness Training and Cardio-Vascular Fitness Training.

Owner Background:
PayneFitness Health & Wellness was started in 2003 by Bryan Payne who left a 14 year career as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Though software development was at times interesting, Bryan had more of a passion for Health and Fitness. Upon initially opening the doors of PayneFitness, Bryan noticed that most clients would make inquiries in regard to "what should I eat?" At the time, Bryan knew it was essentially illegal and ill-advised to give nutrition coaching without some form of certification and education within the realm of fat and muscle management. Bryan completed the work to become a "Certified Fitness Nutritionist" which has a focus on managing blood glucose levels to control fat storage and muscle procurement. Now, with a 4,000 Sq. Ft. superior training facility, a fitness nutrition certification and a fitness training certification, Bryan is totally armed with the tools to help people improve their health stats, get rid of fat and improve the quality of their life. Bryan does not "sugarcoat" the physiological facts of health improvements or make false accusations of "quick fixes".
About Nutrition:

It's a fact that 2/3 of Americans are overweight, obese or not as "trim" as they would like to be. Part of the issue is due to the fact that there is an abundance of conflicting information pertaining to "diet" which leave people vulnerable and reaching for "quick fixes" Many of these products and strategies have no physiological facts to back up their claims.

To improve health and get rid of fat, its fact that long/consistent periods of "Acute" actions are required to change "chronic" conditions. Most diets and scam products fail. A clue is in that these strategies and products claim that short "acute" actions will repair "chronic" conditions. In other words, a quick fix diet or pill can magically, rapidly reverse the effects of years of bad diet and inconsistent and inefficient exercise habits?

PayneFitness uses strategies based on facts pertaining to human digestion and Blood Glucose management. It's very simple, when your blood glucose goes too high, your endocrine/digestive system automatically stores fat. When blood glucose goes too low, your endocrine/digestive has to convert muscle cells into glucose for energy.

Both of the ADA's, American Diabetic and American Dietetic Associates support the focus on managing blood glucose levels for best health. The long term, chronic solution is not a diet, but managing your blood glucose levels at all times. Unless you decide you to let it slip for a few hours. IE; Parties/social gathers where too many carbs are consumed.

Knowledge and Education in regard to understanding how your digestion, glucose levels and absorption works are essential for fat loss, and health improvements. PayneFitness is on a mission to teach people how to manage their glucose levels which leads to better fat management. Each person needs to understand how to quantity their food and understand the ramifications and timing of consumption to work in accordance with goals of fat riddance, muscle maintenance and health improvements.

About Fitness Training(Exercise):
There are many, many permutations of fitness training which should be incumbent on goals. For example, are you interested in training for a long marathon? Are you training to return kickoffs for a football team? Are you training to lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of and reverse type-II diabetes? Are you training to look better at the beach? It's important to not that some goals encompass others. For example, in training to reduce the risk of an onset/preventable disease it's highly likely that fat loss will occur. The area of expertise of PayneFitness is to help people prevent onset disease, get rid of fat, add and keep muscle tone and improve functionality. In achieving these goals, strength/resistance and cardio-vascular training are required. People need to avoid muscle loss and fat gains in most circumstances.
